Colored Pencil, Original Size 8" X 16"

On a cold, blustry day, as I was walking across a parking lot, I spied two beautiful coppery red leaves. The texture was leathry, and they were a little ragged. I put them into my purse.

At my drawing table later, I compaired the two to a brightly colored Maple leaf, which I decided looked as if he might be hoping to be accepted as one of their kind.
